1960 to 1999
In 1960, Mr. Raymond Alali opens a traditionnal cobbler’s in the heart of paris in the 10th arrondissement, where he repairs all types of shoes, from court shoes for women to boots for men. Little does he know that his son will follow in his footsteps. If there is one thing Gilles will have learnt during his fathers work, it is that a shoe is a work of art, close to a sculpture in its purity and refinement.
